ABOUT DAVID KEEN

David, the Senior Partner, founded Keen Electrics in 1976 together with his wife, Sue.

Having made a sideways move from the overhead lines section of the Southern Electricity Board as it was called then, into electrical contracting, David was very fortunate to gain employment with an ECA (Electrical Contractors Association) member company where he quickly realised the benefits of membership for both the member company and their customers.

David has been actively involved with the ECA since Keen Electrics became a member in 1981. He was Thames Valley branch chairman from 1997-1998 and was Central South regional chairman from 2000-2002.

Changes in electrical regulations, Health & Safety employment laws and many other aspects of business requires David to continually update his skills and business practices.
